Placement Activities

One of the goals of the Muskingum County Department of Job and Family Services staff is to assist in providing successful job placements and employment referrals for the able bodied population that we serve.  Striving towards continuous improvement, the data gathered from the skills assessment process is utilized to match the skills and background information of individuals to the available job openings in the area.  Our staff partners with the Workforce Development Center, area temporary agencies, and private employers to help facilitate the best possible employment outcomes for our customers.  In addition we help individuals in overcoming transportation challenges by providing bus passes, car repairs, and other job retention services through the Prevention, Retention, and Contingency Program.
