Staff Development & Training

The Training Department of Muskingum County Department of Job and Family Services provides technical assistance training to our internal staff members as well as staff in surrounding county human service agencies as time and space will allow. We have in place an intensive three month training program for the traditional income maintenance programs such as Ohio Works First (OWF), Medicaid Programs, and Food Assistance Program. The training staff also delivers upon request, presentations to other service agencies in the community along with the general public regarding programs and services that we administer. We are actively involved with community organizations to promote training and resource sharing throughout Muskingum County. The Training Staff of Muskingum County Department of Job and Family Services publishes a quarterly newsletter entitled Improving Performance.
